Fri 13, Sat 14, Sun 15 February
from 11 - 20.00 (18.00 on Sunday)
The Valentine’s Slow Food London Market at Southbank will have the very best of produce from which to assemble a memorable meal for your loved one: Colchester Native oysters; Valentine steaks; heart-shaped cheeses; Mahalabeyeh (Middle Eastern rose petal rice pudding); seductive wines – still and lusciously pink or sensuously sparkling – and, of course, chocolate.
In the Event Tent, 3 days of demos and workshops will show you how to spice up your love life from Arabica’s exemplary, exotic range; explore intriguing alternatives to Champagne; infuse deep, dark chocolate drinks with chilli, cardamom and saffron; produce a Slow Valentine’s meal in a rather swift 30 minutes; and we’ll even rise to the challenge of credit crunch (culinary) seduction!
