Cyrus Todiwala hosts British Twist evening
Cyrus Todiwala is a Slow Food London member and Proprietor and executive chef at Café Spice Namaste. With his wife Pervin they are hosting a Slow Food evening on Monday 26th July at his landmark Pan-Indian restaurant. Cyrus is known for his innovative and fresh approach to Indian cuisine and often features rare, unusual meats on the menu which changes frequently to accommodate the best seasonal ingredients. Cyrus regularly appears on TV and radio. He is recognised for his commitment to sourcing and sustainability, and in 2009 Cafe Spice Namaste was Highly Commended for Sustainable Food at the City of London Sustainable Cities Awards.Cyrus will be creating a special Slow Food London 'tasting menu' -- these are small but special portions -- talking us through each dish, the provenance and his inspiration in creating it. Cyrus will be using mainly British ingredients giving each dish his own unique twist. He uses only the freshest of ingredients cooked with natural herbs and Cyrus’s own spice blends.
