“Nothing …produces so much happiness as a good Tavern…”
So said London’s greatest commentator, Dr Samuel Johnson, the Sage of the Strand.
Prove this yourself by joining in a Slow Food London Tavern Trail around the Strand and Covent Garden. Five taverns will be visited. All are listed in the Good Beer Guide and all are famous for Real Ale. This is a drink renowned for meeting the Slow Food principles of good, clean and fair. It’s a natural cask-conditioned product and brewed using technologies that respect the environment. So the trail rightly celebrates Slow Food Week. Raise a glass yourself!
