Join us for an evening of Slow Food at Borough Market and meet our co-producers.
Central to Slow Food is the idea that whether we produce, trade, buy or consume food, we all participate as Co-Producers.
Between 18.30 and 19.30 we'll taste Black Pig Prosciutto with the Parma Ham and Mozzarella Stall in Three Crown Square, just inside the main gates of the market. At 19.30 we move to Bread Ahead on Bedale Street, for an evening of Slow Food tastings of British bread, cheese and charcuterie with a glass of wine. Matt Jones will be on hand to show you the bakery.
Please pre-buy your £10 tickets for our Friday greet, meet and eat. Children over 14 welcome, soft drink provided instead of wine.
We've awarded Borough Market special recognition for the encouragement and support it provides traders and producers who have adopted Slow Food principles.
As part of Slow Food Week, Slow Food London Approved traders will be marked by the Snail logo, to help you explore the market and seek them out.
